I’m in the middle of the Pierson/Hacker book — it’s good — and came across this short note, online, from them on the current insanity: “Warren Buffett vs. the Broken-Clock Brigade.”
We Americans are going to have to wake up to the reality of our situation. No one else is going to do that for us. This book by Hacker and Pierson is as good a place as any to get a handle on what is going on in this country. It’s a sad state of affairs and it is going to take a big effort to correct. We might as well roll up our sleeves and get started….
